Fourier flim multiplexing (FmFLIM) allows multiplexing tomography 3D imaging lifetime of the entire embryo. In FmFLIM our previous system, the spatial resolution is limited to 25 pM as a trade-off between spatial resolution and imaging depth. In order to achieve cellular resolution imaging of thick specimens, we build tomography system with dual-color Bessel beams.

In combination with FmFLIM, Bessel FmFLIM tomography system can perform parallel lifetime imaging 3D on channel excitation-emission couple on cellular resolution of 2.8 um. Ability Bessel tomographic image of the system is shown by 3D imaging FmFLIM lifetime of dual-labeled transgenic zebrafish embryos.

Quantum-dot nanoprobes and AOTF based cross talk is eliminated six color imaging of biomolecules in cellular systems.

Primary cell cultures mimic the physiology and genetics of in-vivo tissue of origin, fixed, complications in the derivation and propagation of primary cell cultures restrict their use in biological research. However, in-vitro model using primary cells may be complementary models mimic in vivo responses.

However, conventional techniques such as western blot and PCR were used to study the expression and activation of protein requires a large number of cells, then repeated formation and maintenance of primary cultures that can not be avoided. Quantum dots (Q-dots) and acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) based multiplex imaging system is an alternative option for evaluating some signaling molecules by using a small number of cells.

Q-Point has a broad excitation and narrow emission spectrum, which makes it possible to simultaneously excite several Q-points using a single excitation wavelength. The use of AOTF in fluorescence detection system makes it possible to scan the fluorescence emission intensity of the Q-dot in their center wavelengths, this phenomenon effectively avoid the spectral overlap between neighboring Q-dots.

When the Q-point conjugated with antibodies act as an effective sensing probe. To validate this, the pattern of expression of p-JNK-1, p-GSK3β, p-IRS1ser, p-IRS1tyr, p-FOXO1, and PPAR-γ, which is involved in insulin resistance are simultaneously monitored in adipocytes and HepG2 cells co culture model , Results observed clearly show that PPAR-γ is an important component in the development of insulin resistance.
